To be personally eligible for the The Innovation Prize for Vertical Farming 2016, participants must be:
Current and recently graduated (with 6 months of the January 1, 2016) university students, which include all types of accredited higher education (vocational school, technical university, junior college, online university, public and/or private universities, colleges).
Over the age of 18 years old as of January 1, 2016.
Able to speak, read, and write in English.
For teams to be eligible for the The Innovation Prize for Vertical Farming 2016, teams must:
Have a maximum of 5 team members (18+). Team members do not all have to be in the same city, country, region and/or university.
Appoint a team leader, who serves a critical role in keeping the team on task, recruiting advisors, attending all webinars, tracking progress, and developing the team profile.
Have a maximum of 2 official advisors, although optional. Advisors cannot win any of the prize money, nor are their trips to the final presentations covered.
